"So Heather, everyone wants to know how you ended up snogging Lady Gaga in her latest video. Did you audition or were you ‘spotted’ ?

I run my own personal training business and another trainer at my gym called me to say that a casting agent was looking for female bodybuilders. Acting’s not really my thing but when I heard it was a Beyoncé/Gaga video, I told her to give me the address because I find Beyoncé droolworthy. I was there for one day of the shoot and sadly Beyoncé was rehearsing for the Grammys that day.

Was your prison-yard kiss planned ?

I had no idea about the story-line, except that I was to be a security guard in a woman’s prison scene, which I thought was hilarious, being the big fag that I am. We blocked the prison-yard scene with a Gaga double a few times. Finally, the Lady herself appeared. Within minutes her people called me over. Draped in chains and clad in a cat-suit, she checked me out head to toe and told me she wanted me to play her prison-yard girlfriend. ‘When I want someone, I never go to them, they come to me…’ she said, ‘so you come to me.’ Then she told me to ‘touch her inappropriately’. I was kind of stunned, but I just smiled and said, ‘Ok, no problem’. I wasn’t instructed to kiss her, but because she had such a commanding air, almost like pop royalty, and because everyone around was so starstruck, I felt that the most inappropriate thing to do was to sniff her, kiss her and get up in her space. It surprised me that she put her tongue in my mouth first… I just went with it. " (diva)

Pour celles qui ne parlent pas (encore) l’anglais, Heather est une body-buildeuse, coach sportif. Un jour, son/sa pote bodybuilder lui dit qu’il y a un casting en cours pour jouer dans le clip de Beyonce/Lady Gaga. Heather se déplace car elle adore Beyonce. Mais le jour où elle fait les prises de vues, Beyonce n’est pas là.
On lui propose d’autres prises de vues, avec un double de Lady Gaga. Elle répète plusieurs fois et la star en personne vient à une répet. Lady Gaga l’examine du haut en bas, et lui demande de jouer le rôle de son amie gardienne de prison. "Quand je veux quelqu’un, je ne vais jamais vers la personne, c’est la personne qui vient à moi. Donc, tu viens à moi et tu me touches de façon inappropriée" Heather est un peu étonnée mais elle sourit et dit "ok, pas de problème".
On ne lui a pas dit d’embrasser Lady Gaga, mais parce qu’elle avait cet air si autoritaire, un peu comme une reine, et parce que tous les gens présents étaient paralysés par son côté star, Heather pense que la façon la plus inappropriée de la toucher serait de la renifler, l’embrasser et envahir son espace. Ca l’a surpris que Lady G. mette sa langue dans sa bouche en premier, mais...elle a suivi le mouvement."
